Any more UK trips on the horizon then? ;)
CA I really want to return to the UK. Those two weeks last September and the shorter trip I did in April went so well (I even got away with my British accent on stage :-) No immediate plans, I imagine getting back to the UK in the early or late fall if not sooner.
Now about LA and the West Coast...I'm really wanting to get my butt to LA. You know it is all about contacts. I've been focusing on college campuses, so if you know of anyone at one of the area colleges, let me know and I'll have the Amazing Sarah Miller, who does my booking, follow up.
Of course once I have a college gig set up, I can see about setting up presentations at other venues (churches, LGBT community centers, nursing homes, prisions, McDonalds, whatever). Soooo, get me the contacts and I'll get myself to a venue near you .
Maybe I'll even bring Marvin.

I wonder if Belfast Pride would be interested in you?

I've always said they need someone like you in good ole Norn Iron :).
I'll do you a deal, if you can get yourself a gig in NI, I will arrange for you and any partner (because I'm sure that ad on match.com will have them flocking) to stay in my dad's unbelievably middle-class holiday home on the very dramatic and very beautiful north coast, with the giants' causeway practically in the back garden. I'll even go home myself and show you around.
Sadly, I don't have any contacts in Northern Ireland who won't be protesting your event or I'd try to set something up for you myself :(.
CA, That is a WONDERFUL deal. I will look into it. Sounds yummy. Will keep you posted.
Peterson, I think you might need an assistant for any overseas trips. *cough* Someone who is also self-employed and might be somewhat flexible...Just a thought. :D
Sounds like a great schedule! I'd love to see a few performances this year.
I think you need to get out to Long Beach, CA.
I know Jonathan and I would love to see you.
Re: the UK. Not sure if the Greenbelt Festival might be a good place for one of your shows (end of August)?
It's about the most broad-ranging of any of the Christian Festivals over here, (two of the numerous worship sessions last year were led by openly gay Christians), so it might be a good fit, and I think you'd enjoy it too.
Good news gang, I just got word from McGill University in Montreal that my proposal has been accepted for their March 17-18 conference. EGSS Annual Conference ENGAGING SOCIAL JUSTICE: OPENING TRANSFORMATIVE DIALOGUES ENGAGER LA JUSTICE SOCIALE: DIALOGUES ET CHANGEMENTS
Jimbo, I like the idea of going to Greenbelt; I've heard wonderful things.
One more question Peterson.
Do you plan on inviting the staff from Exodus to your Orlando show?
Since my performance in Orlando is a closed event for the participants of the 7th Day Adventist Group that is sponsoring it, I won't be inviting Exodus to it, BUT I would love to stop by and say hey and continue a dialogue with Alan Chambers (We appeared on Faith Under Fire last year and have chatted since.
Looking to maybe perform at some churches in FL while I am there, so if anyone has contacts, let me know.
I've been asked what sort of contacts/venues I'm looking for--any LGBT campus group and any queer-affirming church.
More dates will be added to the tour later this week!
Peterson
